Tree plantation drive held at SRSO-managed schools in Shikarpur

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) Over 100 saplings were planted during a tree plantation drive conducted at various Sindh Rural Support Organisation (SRSO)'s managed Community Cluster Secondary Schools in Shikarpur district.

The activity was held at schools in Sain Dino Kalhoro, Orang Abad, Qabalo, Garhi Sahib Khan, Chutti Drib, Hashim Pahore and other areas of the district.

The main objective of the drive was to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to play an active role in creating a greener and healthier environment.

Various types of trees, including Neem, Peepal, Nazbo, Moringa and Banyan, were planted during the activity. These plants were selected to enhance the natural beauty of the schools and provide long-term environmental benefits.

Principals, teachers and students actively participated in the event. Students showed great enthusiasm and took part in the plantation process with full dedication and interest.
