Two assault cases reported in Attock, suspects arrested

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Two separate assault cases involving a teenage girl and a woman have surfaced in Attock, with police arresting suspects in both incidents.

Investigations are ongoing in line with legal procedures. In the first case, a father filed a complaint at City Police Station Attock after finding a young man leaving his home in a hurry.

He and his wife had been at the market, leaving their 13-year-old daughter alone. The girl was later found distressed and told her parents that the accused, Safyan Ali, had entered the house during their absence and assaulted her.

Safyan was taken into custody. A case was registered against the nominated suspect, and further investigation is underway to establish the full facts of the incident.

In the second case reported at Rango Police Station, a woman alleged that Muhammad Rizwan maintained a relationship with her for three years on the promise of marriage.

He later refused to honor the commitment, leading her to file a complaint. The accused, was taken into custody. Police said both cases are being pursued as per law, with investigations ongoing.
