Two bodies found along roadside in Lakki Marwat

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) Two bodies having bullet shots were found on he roadside in Manjiwala area of Lakki Marwat, sparking fear and concern among local residents.

According to police on Wednesday, the victims were shot dead by unknown assailants. Law enforcement authorities reached the scene soon after the discovery and took the bodies into custody.

An investigation has been launched and efforts are underway to trace and arrest those responsible.

The bodies were later moved to a hospital for identification. Police have since identified the victims as Nauman, son of Mirbaz Khan, a resident of Wanda Shahab Khel currently living in Gul Wali Abad, Lakki Marwat and Nasir, son of Abdul Hakeem, a resident of Akbari in Tank district.

Police have assured that all possible measures are being taken to bring the perpetrators to justice.
