LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Niaz Baig police responded promptly to an Emergency-15 call and arrested two suspects involved in aerial firing in Rana Town area on Monday.

According to officials, a minor altercation near Pervez General Store escalated when the suspects resorted to aerial firing, causing panic and fear in the locality.

The police reached the spot in time and apprehended the accused, identified as Haider and Zain. An illegal pistol used in the firing was also recovered from their possession.

A case has been registered against the suspects, and further investigation has been initiated.

SP Iqbal Town Sidra Khan appreciated the police for their timely action, reiterating that a zero-tolerance policy is being strictly enforced against aerial firing.
