Two people were injured in a firing incident at the Lahore sessions court premises on Wednesday

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) Two people were injured in a firing incident at the Lahore sessions court premises on Wednesday.

According to police, the firing took place outside the courtroom of Additional Sessions Judge Saifullah Sohail, where a suspect opened fire and injured two individuals.

Police officials immediately arrested the accused, identified as Nadeem, a resident of Rasul Pura, and recovered a revolver from his possession.

Investigators said the suspect had allegedly come to target a man identified as Saad, who was injured during the firing. Police managed to overpower the accused after hearing the commotion and shifted both injured persons to an area hospital for treatment.
