Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar praised leadership, team of Larkana Police for their decisive crackdown against offenders

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar has praised the leadership and team of Larkana Police for their decisive crackdown on proclaimed offenders, including those implicated in heinous crimes such as murder, terrorism, and highway robbery.

Commending Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Larkana, Nisar Aftab, and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkana, Ahmed Chaudhry, Lanjar said: “Your weekly performance report against crime is commendable. Successful actions against criminal elements not only reduce crime but also significantly boost police morale.”

The Home Minister expressed strong confidence that by maintaining consistent performance, the Larkana police would continue to defeat criminal networks and gangs, ensuring public safety across the region.

Significant arrested made during the week presenting details, SSP Larkana reported multiple high-value arrests, Azhar alias Abro – head money: Rs: 2 million.

(Named in 32 cases, including the murder of police officers), Irfan Junejo – head money, Rs: 3 million. (Named in 9 cases, involved in the murder of police officers) Rehmatullah Jatoi – head money, Rs: 2 million(Named in 22 cases) other arrested bandits and accused include, Imam Bakhsh Narejo, Aqib Jatoi, Ushaq Ali Khakhrani, and several others.Criminals Killed in Police encounter, in exchange of fire with police, multiple dangerous outlaws were neutralized. They were wanted in numerous cases under the Terrorism Act, robbery, highway banditry, snatching, and previous police encounters, Shehnawaz alias Shano Kalhoro (Named in 35 cases) Gul Jan Tunio (Named in 8 cases)Qurban Sanjrani – (Named in 14 cases) Muhammad Yasin Mahesar(Named in 9 cases) SSP Ahmed Chaudhry reaffirmed that operations against hardened criminals will continue unabated, and no element threatening public peace will be spared.
