23-Year-Old worker dies after fall from under-construction building

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) A 23-year-old man died after falling from a 12-storey under-construction building near Shaheen Chowk on Thursday, Rescue 1122 reported.

According to 1122 spokesperson, an emergency call was received reporting a fall of person from building at a construction site.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, where rescuers found a critically injured labourer identified as Sajjad Khan, 23, who had fallen from the 12th floor of the building during construction work under unclear circumstances. He sustained severe head injuries and was declared dead on the spot. The body was later shifted for legal formalities, while authorities are investigating the incident to determine the matter.
