Commissioner reviews cleanliness arrangements under 'Suthra Punjab' in Quaidabad

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Thursday visited Jinnah Park in Quaidabad to inspect cleanliness arrangements and public facilities under the 'Suthra Punjab' programme.

According to a spokesperson for the commissioner’s office here, Managing Director Suthra Punjab Khushab Ghazala Kanwal informed the Commissioner that additional machinery and staff had been deployed in Quaidabad during the ongoing deep-cleaning operation, while daily monitoring was also being carried out to further improve sanitation services.

Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali emphasized that improving sanitation standards in cities and towns remains a top priority of the Punjab government.

The commissioner issued strict directives for further improvement in cleanliness arrangements and facilities at Jinnah Park and warned that negligence in the implementation of the “Suthra Punjab” programme would not be tolerated. He also visited the site allocated for the new General Bus Stand in Quaidabad and inspected the proposed location for the project.
