Pre Shandur polo tournament starts in Chitral

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) The pre-Shandur polo tournament on Thursday commenced in Lower Chitral with great grandeur and sportsmen spirit.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral Rao Hashim Azim, CTF Commandant Colonel Arsalan, and DPO Lower Chitral Riffatullah Khan, who formally inaugurated the match.

Various teams from Lower and Upper Chitral are enthusiastically participating in the tournament, while a large number of local and foreign tourists are also enjoying this traditional and exciting sport.
