BAJAUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) The Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur has released a list of the Names of martyred and injured people due to unprovoked firing by Afghan Taliban on civilian population.

According to the report, nine people embraced martyrdom including three women and six innocent children in the firing.

During March and April, mortar shells were fired from Afghanistan into various border areas of Bajaur particulary Mamond and Salarzai.

The list leaves no room for ambiguity regarding the loss of life and property caused by Afghan Taliban firing in Bajaur. After each incident, images of the affected women and children had already been released by local residents.

In response, the Pakistan Army, with professional precision, targeted only Afghan Taliban military posts and gun positions, ensuring that no harm to the Afghan civilian population.

The repeated targeting of women and children by Afghan Taliban reflects their brutality.

Under Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq, the Pakistan Army has consistently responded to Afghan Taliban aggression, which has not only unsettled their leadership but also exposed their true face before the world.

The local population of Bajaur has also expressed strong grief and anger over the unprovoked shelling by Afghan forces and strongly condemned the targeting of innocent civilians.

It is noteworthy that similar incidents have previously occurred in the border areas of Khyber, Kurram, and Waziristan, resulting in the loss of precious human lives.
