Measures reviewed to curb crimes in Paroa circle

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) The district police have intensified efforts to curb crime and ensure the prompt disposal of pending cases across the district.

According to police spokesman, in this regard, SP City Muhammad Nauman on Tuesday chaired a meeting with officers of the Paroa Circle, on the directives of District Police Officer(DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed.

The meeting was attended by DSP Paroa Muhammad Saleem Khan Baloch, SHOs, and investigation officers. During the session, a detailed review was conducted of cases under investigation in 2026, including undetected cases, recovery of stolen property, and arrests of suspects.

SP City Muhammad Nauman directed all officers to prioritize the disposal of pending cases and ensure progress in every investigation.

He emphasized the importance of timely recovery of stolen property and the early arrest of those involved, in order to strengthen public trust in the police.

He issued instructions to submit comprehensive reports on all pending cases within seven days, warning that strict action would be taken against officers showing poor performance.

He said these measures aimed to effectively control crime and provide better security to citizens.
