Police swiftly recover missing 8-year-old boy within hours

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Police successfully recovered an 8-year-old boy who had gone missing in the jurisdiction of Jahaniyan police station, reuniting him with his family within just a few hours.

According to the police, a complaint was received at around 10:00 AM regarding the disappearance of 8-year-old Hasnain.

Taking immediate notice of the situation, District Police Officer (DPO) Abid Mahmood directed officers to ensure the child’s safe recovery.

Acting swiftly on the DPO’s orders, Station House Officer (SHO) Mehr Ikhlaq, along with Sub-Inspector Huzaifa, launched an intensive search operation using both modern technology and traditional investigative methods. After nearly three hours of continuous efforts and fieldwork, Sub-Inspector Huzaifa successfully traced and recovered the missing child.

The boy was safely handed over to his mother, bringing relief and joy to the family.
