Section 144 imposed around exam centers in Haripur

HARIPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Haripur Waseem Ahmed has imposed Section 144 around all examination centers in Haripur district to ensure peaceful and transparent conduct of SSC and HSSC Annual Exams 2026.

Under the orders, unauthorized gatherings within 200 yards of exam centers, use of mobile phones and photocopier machines, as well as the sale of pocket guides and unauthorized educational material, have been completely banned.

The restrictions will remain in force from March 31 to May 4, 2026, and apply to key centers including Army Foundation Model school Dhandah Road, Hazara School and College Khalo Ghazi, and WAPDA Cadet College Tarbela Dam.

The Deputy Commissioner warned that violators will face legal action under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code, and police have been directed to register FIRs immediately.

The district administration has appealed to parents, students, and the public to cooperate fully.
